The tiny house trend is sweeping the nation, attracting people who are not only looking to downsize and live a simpler lifestyle, but also those wanting to reduce their impact on the environment through low-space living. If a tiny home is something you have considered, or you're just interested in learning more about them, the first annual Colorado Tiny House Festival will be rolling into the Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg from July 28-30. The event will feature more than 20 tiny house builders and actual models, as well as hands-on workshops and educational speakers. In addition, various vendors are going to be on-site, plus live entertainment, food and drinks. Festival goers also have the opportunity to camp out over the weekend for a small fee.

Single-day and weekend ticket packages are available online, and everyone who buys their tickets before July 28 will also be entered to win a 3-day, 2-night stay at WeeCasa, located in beautiful Lyons, Colorado! Tickets can be purchased at the doors during the festival too, and kids under the age of 12-years old get in for free. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated back to the Wild Animal Sanctuary.
