Two small planes have gone down in Longmont, with one person reportedly killed.

At around 11:45 Friday morning two small aircraft went down in Longmont. It is unclear whether the two planes had collided prior to crashing.

The Denver Post is reporting that one plane crashed near HWY 119 and County Line Road by Wal-Mart- the second near Vance Brand Airport

It appears that the two planes collided.  The plane that crashed by Wal-Mart killed the pilot. The second plane's pilot, a woman, was transported to the hospital in stable condition.

As the second plane went down near the airport, it took out some power lines leavign over 100 people without power for the time being.
