Bono, the iconic lead singer of the iconic band U2, does have a sense of humor.

When U2 played the Pepsi Center in the summer of 2015, I was at BOTH shows, and had a great time. Those guys put on a fantastic show, with Bono at the front of the stage. When I saw them, he told the story of his bike accident- very funny in his telling of it.

Now, he’s giving you the shot at going on a bike ride with him!

Who’s in?

Did you know, that it was a couple of women from Colorado who were first to assist Bono when he took his digger in Central Park? With that, why shouldn’t someone like you, from Colorado, join Bono for another bike ride in Central Park?

The Omaze organization, that [raffles off] once-in-a-lifetime experiences, has teamed up with Bono to help the ‘Red’ fund, in the fight against AIDS.  With Omaze, you donate, the money goes to the charity that the celebrity has chosen, and you hope to be the winner. Pretty simple. I remember entering for a dinner with George Clooney; it felt good to help out others, while trying to win a really cool prize!

So here’s Bono, with a great ‘date’ giveaway. They’ll fly the winner and guest out to New York, very fancy digs, the whole shebang... The kicker- a bike ride through Central Park with Bono! Then, ice cream!

Come on, that sounds like a blast!
