Fort Collins has a lot of events, festivals and gatherings throughout the year. The community has an almost ongoing festival feel with performers in the streets as long as weather holds, and the time between concerts in the square, park or other indoor or outdoor venue is never very long.

Given all that, Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest takes it to another level. 90+ Colorado bands. Endless family fun. Huge headliners. It might be the 'everything to everyone' festival for Northern Colorado.

This year's headliners are Michael Franti and Spearhead on Friday night, Alison Krauss with Union Station on Saturday and the Gipsy Kings on Sunday.

I spoke with Peggy Lyle and she told about the festival, what family fun we can expect and much more.

It is such a privilege to be able to bring such amazing talent, not only our three national headliners which together combine for over 30 Grammy awards...Alison Krauss alone is such an impressive artist.  The Bohemian Nights line up is just so amazing and I can't underplay how much the 90 Colorado bands with such a high caliber of talent really mean to the community.

There is also an app for that! Plan your full Bohemian Nights itinerary, or see what is happening on the fly with the Bohemian Nights App for iOS and  Android.
