Billy Joel Sets Up Residency At Madison Square Garden!

For the foreseeable future, fans of legend Billy Joel will be able to see him every month at the iconic Madison Square Garden!

He hasn't had a hit on the radio for 20 years, yet he continues to sell out venue after venue. Billy Joel has a tremendous fan base- the guy is just so darn likeable!  I've seen him in concert only two times--both in Denver.  He hasn't done any real touring in years- though he has been seen performing- you probably saw him at the 12-12-12 concert for Hurricane Sandy relief.

Being from The Bronx, Billy has strong roots in New York. So it comes as no real surprise that he and Madison Square Garden have reached this deal. Billy Joel will be MSG's very first music 'franchise'- along side the sports franchises of The Rangers, The Knicks, and The Liberty!  It seems crazy!

Many artists have set up residencies in Las Vegas- Cher, Celine Dion, Shania Twain, Tim  & Faith, Elton John, Prince, Rod Stewart, etc.  I guess Billy thought Vegas isn't his style, so New York City it is!

Starting January 27th 2014, Billy Joel will be performing one show a month at Madison Square Garden! According to Billy, the shows will continue as long as demand continues- who KNOWS how long that will be! We could be talking ten years!

• March 21st, 2014 (SOLD OUT)
• April 18th, 2014 (SOLD OUT)
• May 9th, 2014
• June 21st, 2014

The last two dates are not sold out because, as of this writing, tickets hadn't gone on sale yet.

I'm already making plans to see him around the time of my 48th birthday in 2015!!  I can't wait!
