Beyonce’s Pregnancy Delays Remake of ‘A Star Is Born’

In an adorable moment on Sunday night’s MTV Video Music Awards, singer Beyonce showed off her brand new baby bump, revealing to the world for the first time that she and husband Jay-Z are expecting their first child.

While the couple is clearly elated about it, the impending arrival does mean the pop diva will have to reschedule some prior career commitments.

For example, the shooting schedule of her new movie, the Clint Eastwood-directed remake of ‘A Star Is Born,’ was slated to begin production next February — which, unless that’s a convection oven baking her new little bun, likely won’t happen.

On the upside, the delay does give the studio time to find a male lead for the film. Eastwood originally wanted Leonard DiCaprio, but his unavailability led to talks with Will Smith and Christian Bale, although neither has committed to the project.
