Traditional popular songs create incredibly memorable moments during wedding ceremonies and receptions. There are some songs, that, when I hear them, I know that they will make perfect songs for a couples first dance. Others are more suited to expressing the undying bond that exists between a father and a daughter.

I am a wedding dj as well as your mild mannered morning show host and most of my clients opt for the father daughter dance. It usually follows the couple's first dance and is symbolic of the fact that the father was the man in his daughter's life, but now that responsibility is being passed to another man, her husband.

A recent bride was having trouble settling on a song, so she asked me for advice. First, I looked at some of the selections that my past clients have made.
