Susan began her broadcasting career about 40 years ago while attending Minot State University. She was the weather anchor for the 6 and 10 pm newscasts and notes, “North Dakota was really cold.” With her B.A. in hand, Susan began working in radio which became a lifelong passion that took her from ND to Anchorage, San Diego, Denver, and to Fort Collins in 1989. Susan’s achievements include being in the Miss America Pageant as Miss North Dakota 1974 (at 18-years-old). Multiple Colorado Broadcaster Association Awards and a national Country Music Association award in broadcasting have dotted Susan’s career, and in 2017 she was inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame along with K99 morning show partners Brian Gary and Todd Harding. “Words of wisdom from my dad: Keep your cool, do your best, and remember who you are.” Susan and her husband, Dr. Bob, live on a small horse farm outside of Fort Collins CO. ... visit Susan's Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/susan.moorelawrence
