The list could go on. Austin has its City Limits. Indio hosts Coachella. San Francisco; Outside Lands. Chicago; Lollapalooza. Denver -- well, we'll find out in 2018.

According to Denver Post's The Know, Superfly Productions has now been approved by city council to bring a music festival to Overland Park Golf Course, which is on the south side of Denver, in September of next year.

The promoters, who are also the ones behind Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Tennessee, say the festival will draw '30,000 to 40,000 people a day,' and will grow in years to come.

Earlier this year, Superfly announced they would launch Lost Lake Festival in Phoenix, which will highlight the local arts and culture, and boast an awesome bill of touring acts. The Killers, Pixies, Ludacris, Major Lazer and Lil Jon -- to name just a few. Oh, and Huey Lewis and the News. Lost Lake Festival kicks off this October.
