Dinosaurs rock! Well, technically, when you find the remains of a dinosaur, they are now actually rock. I always thought it would be cool to dig in the back yard when I was a kid and possibly finding a fossil or two. Sadly, that never happened. However, today in Thornton, there was a huge find... The fossils of a triceratops dinosaur!

According to a release via the City of Thornton, the Triceratops has been there for at least 66 million years! It is really amazing to see and hear about some of the awesome things that have been found in Colorado when it comes to fossils! Eventually, this Triceratops, will be placed in its forever home at the Denver  Museum of Nature and Science.
