This horse is my 2-year-old filly, Volare, who is in training right now. We have big plans to take part in shows and clinics, though we are not quite ready for this years Rocky Mountain Horse Expo.   It's always exciting to pull into the National Western Complex, especially when I have friends competing and there's plenty of shopping to be done.
This year's expo features Julie Goodnight.  Her varied background ranges
from reining and racing to dressage and colt starting and wilderness riding.
For $8 a day we can watch clinics on Western and English Riding, Ranch
Horse Versatility, and more, the expo truly covers all the disciplines. Of course
I expect to see demonstrations of products I didn't even know I could live without,
such as a veggie chopper, or knives, or other kitchen stuff that is
alien to me. There'll be clothes, boots, jewelry, and most important, there'll
be horses handled by professionals promising to captivate.  click here for more
