Wings At A Bridal Shower

Hi there!

It says something when you need a recovery day-off on a Monday to come back from a bridal shower that happened on a Saturday. I hosted my first shower last weekend for my very best, out-of-town friend. This was also on the Broncos bye-week, and that was no accident. Still, my inner football fan was showing when I ordered a huge platter of chicken wings to go with the classy shower-y finger sandwiches, tea, etc! Guess which platter was empty by the end of the afternoon? Mmm HMM! Those wings were history,

and a huge hit with the ladies. The wedding itself is to be followed by a bar-b-que reception, so in hind sight, wings were good practice. Now, let's chow down on some bbq in formal wear!
