There is no need to search for your lucky four leaf clover this year because the luck of the Irish will be jamming once again in the heart of Old Town.

While the annual St. Patrick's Day parade will not be happening this year, Old Town Square will have plenty of free festivities geared toward both kids and adults.

Oak Street Shamrock Festival
This family-friendly and alcohol-free celebration takes place in Oak Street Plaza from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 16th. In addition to four free hours of entertainment on the Oak Street Plaza Stage (which is detailed on their webpage), the event will have a variety of do-it-yourself crafts, coloring opportunities, and St. Patrick's day-themed activities for all ages. Some of the entertainment highlights includes Kid's House of Joy, who is featuring a highly interactive musical journey to Ireland, and Macinfire, a Celtic band that will be performing traditional Irish music including guitar, banjo, bagpipes and fiddle.

Old Town Irish Party

A longstanding downtown tradition, this free celebration will take place on the Old Town Square Stage from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will feature nearly four hours of performances on the Old Town Square Stage featuring Johnny & The Mongrels, Crescent City Connection, and Guerrilla Fanfare. The celebration will also feature a green beer garden with offerings from Odell Brewing, High Country Beverage, and select wine and hard seltzer offerings. Odell and High Country Beverage beers are $5 each and you can enjoy your beverage anywhere in Old Town Square.
