Weld RE-4 ‘Flip Flop Gala’ Coming Up August 29

The Flip Flop Gala puts the "fun" in fundraising and their second annual event is coming up quickly. So, find your favorite flip flops and party down at Water Valley.

The second annual Flip Flop Gala will be held at the Island in Water Valley (1870 Marina Drive) on Saturday, August 29th from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. There will be live music from Equally Challenged, a bunch of different auctions, fantastic food and drinks and more fun that the law should allow.

• Chicken satay with peanut glaze
• Caprese skewers (vegetarian)
• Coconut shrimp
• Bacon wrapped dates
• Stuffed jalapeño peppers (vegetarian)
• Mini veggie egg rolls
• Prosciutto wrapped asparagus
• Fruit skewers

You can also get your cocktails on with Lime-a-ritas, beer and wine and of course there are plenty of non-alcoholic beverages as well. There will be all kinds of games as well including the flip flop float and many others.

Fundraiser will benefit the Weld RE4 Educational Foundation is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization composed of dedicated parents and district officials to provide funding for necessary projects in our school.
