As a way of thanking the community for their continuous loyalty, Transfort will be offering free rides all day on April 1.

Besides taking the Transfort to work or school without having to pay, the fare-free day coincides with First Friday in Old Town, as well as with the launch of Fort Collins' brand new Bike Library, also located Downtown.

On their website, Transfort happily announced that in 2015 alone, they were responsible for providing more than 3.2 million rides to residents living in Northern Colorado. If that didn't give them enough of a reason to celebrate, ridership had also increased by 25 percent from the year prior. This transit system benefits the community by helping to reduce traffic congestion along with carbon monoxide emissions. Plus, riding the bus provides opportunities for socially connecting with others.
