Three Downtown Greeley parking lots will close Sunday, July 22 and Monday, July 23, for maintenance. City crews will seal coat and re-stripe the Ice Haus, Chamber of Commerce, and Farmers Market parking lots.

Work will start on Sunday and finish on Monday. The parking lots will open progressively Monday as work finishes. Officials anticipate the Ice Haus lot should open by 1 p.m., the Chamber of Commerce lot should open by 3 p.m., and the Farmers Market parking lot should open by 5 p.m.

Where to Park

During this work, anyone who normally parks in those lots should park along 7th Avenue and in the parking lot at 6th Avenue and 10th Street.

This maintenance will improve the parking lots by applying a layer of asphalt and water mix on the old surface. This new surface seal coat protects asphalt from UV light and can add an additional five to seven years to the pavement’s life expectancy.

This work requires good weather to complete and as such could get delayed by rain or other adverse weather conditions.
