If you've been waiting like me for the new Trader Joe's store in Fort Collins to open up, your wait is almost over.

If you drive up and down South College Avenue on a daily basis, you have seen construction of the new location moving along swiftly and on February 27th the opening will become a reality. The time that the store opens will be 8am on Friday.

According to the Coloradoan Newspaper, the day begins with a ceremonial lei cutting with store manager Alex Culp, regional vice president Greg Paquet and Fort Collins Mayor Karen Weitkunat. Activities including food demonstrations, giveaways, balloons and more will continue throughout the day.

The new Trader Joe's will take up 12,000 square feet and focuses on carrying it's own line of food and beverages.
