According to a recent article in CNN, the View-Master toy is making a comeback. And this time, it is virtual reality for kids. Remember with the old View-Master you would press the lever to get to the next slide, and you'd have to replace the slide a week later because you would get to the end very quick?

Well with the new View-Master, you don't have to worry about that. Unlike the old images with the old system, you can spin around in place and see everything around you. Plus it works with every Smartphone on the market and will only cost $30. According to CNN, a downloadable app does all the magic, splitting your phone screen into two images that, when viewed together, create the 3-D effect. The viewer is just a comfortable way to hold the phone up to your eyes. A magnetic button on the side lets you cycle through images or interact with your environment.

This is a whole comeback by Mattel to be able to bring their toys "up to speed" and appeal to today's generation of kids. Mattel has said to not be surprised if they bring Barbie, Hot Wheels, and Thomas the Tank Engine into the digital age.

Now think about the toys you used to play with growing up. Remember how you would spend hours upon hours constructing something out of your Lincoln Logs? Are how you would try to copy different items using your Silly Putty?

If you could bring back one toy from your childhood, what would it be?
