The Respite Ball Powers Respite Care of Fort Collins [VIDEO]

The Respite Ball has more than three decades of fundraising power behind it, so this year's celebration should simply build on that solid past.

Respite Care, Inc is a nonprofit organization in Larimer County that provides specialized care to children with developmental disabilities. The Respite Ball is one of Respite Care's main source of funding.

In the beginning, it was a few Northern Colorado families that had kids who needed a special kind of care that just wasn't offered. What they've created since is the envy of communities across America. Many look to Respite Care to model their programs, and many can only dream of being as fortunate as to have this caliber of organization in their community.

Respite Care is open 24 hours, 7 days a week providing opportunities for our kiddos and respite to our parents. As an organization that receives no state or federal funding, the success of our Annual Respite Ball is critical. This year, our goal is to raise $325,000 to continue providing the care our families rely on. Thank you for your support!

The Respite Ball will be held at the Embassy Suites in Loveland on November 15, 2014, and they expect almost 1,000 people to attend.
