While there's no shortage of fun, scenic train rides you can take without leaving Colorado, here's a chance to make our state just a fraction of the overall experience.

If you have a couple hundred dollars and roughly four days free to travel (not counting getting to San Francisco to board it,) you can use it to see parts of 11 states, while getting wined and dined - which, by the way, is included in the price.

Some of what you'll see includes the Golden Gate Bridge, Lake Michigan, Manhatten, New York's "Finger Lakes," and some wonderfully famous stops in Cleveland and Boston.

To get all this, there is a connection.  The first train takes you from San Fran to Chicago, the second takes you the rest of the way.
