Recently, Colin Kaepernick has been splashed all over the news for his refusal to stand up and place his hand over his heart for the National Anthem. His refusal sent a hate storm of tweets his way but also struck a chord with others, those who remain in support of Kaepernick's right to free speech...

To think back to the times that I  used to swim in the Allegheny River makes my skin crawl a little bit. Pittsburgh, the city built on Steel was not as worried about pollution as they were football, so I still fear the day my doctor tells me I'm suffering from 'Alleghenyriveritis' because as a teenager I just wasn't worried about much of anything...
