The second location for IKEA Colorado has been delayed according to 9News. The location would have been closer for us that live in Northern Colorado. We'll still have to make the trek to Centennial for the foreseeable future. IKEA was set to open Summer of 2019 and the news broke today that the project has been delayed for unknown reasons...

While the recall occurred back in 2016, many people are unaware of it and still own the pieces of furniture that have caused the deaths of at least eight children under the age of three. The latest confirmation was a boy in California.

IKEA fans, you soon won't have to drive all the way to the south end of the Denver Metro area to get your Swedish furniture fix! Plans are moving forward for a second IKEA location in Colorado and this one is in closer proximity to Northern Colorado...

Today, IKEA has announced they have found a site in Broomfield for a potential second Denver-area store.
