Well watching the game last night I found it very entertaining to check Facebook sporadically, and see what I thought were some of the best posts of the year. First you had everyone talking about who they had and all the crazy reasons why, then I think everyone I have as a friend made some sort of comment about Christina Aguilera messing up the National Anthem (I still love you Christina). After some random comments about the first half of the game we got to halftime.

As I looked through the hundreds of comments about the Black Eyed Peas performance, one thing really popped out at me! I was only one of about, well, EVERYBOBY who thought it was horrible! I must say I didn't see one, and one only, comment defending them. It was form a friends daughter, 15, saying "Leave the Black Eyed Peas alone, you couldn't do that!"

Now I maybe bias because I'm not a Black Eyed Peas fan to begin with. I just cant get into the synthesized voices and heavy bass lines in almost every song. I personally think Fergie should have stuck with the solo career. Fergie, what was up with her last night? The outfit? The mic not turned up (ok not her fault)? The singing off key and absolutely destroying that poor Guns N' Roses song, and not in a good way! Then there was Usher. Did he do anything but dance? I don't think I heard him sing! The dancers were not bad, until the guys with boxes on their heads came out! That was just weird!

So to sum it up, I thought this years Super Bowl halftime show may have been the worst I have seen in some time. Was it just me, or did anyone else think Axel Rose should have joined Slash and had a GNR halftime? Next year, Please!
