Spring Canyon Park Closures Begin This Month in Fort Collins

Heads up to families who frequent Spring Canyon Park! With summer winding down, the City of Fort Collins will be closing portions of the community park on West Horsetooth for repairs.

Beginning August 24, the Inspiration Playground will be undergoing resurfacing and repairs, which will close the 'tot' playground on the east side through September 6. Repairs to the west side will follow immediately after, closing that portion of the playground through September 23.

According to the City of Fort Collins, this project is intended to begin as kids go back to school, and is set to be completed before the cool fall weather arrives. During this time, the city recommends that families visit Cottonwood Glen Park, which is located just north of Spring Canyon, or Fossil Creek Community Park. More information via fcgov.com here.
