Here is a fun opportunity to get some excercise and enjoy the Poudre River Trail. In it's second year, the Poudre River Trail-athlon will take place Saturday, May 12th at the Poudre Learning Center in Greeley. It's a free event open to the public and to all ages and athletic abilities. There is even a "Pet Tread" and "Dog Jog," so even your four-legged family member can join in on the fun.

The event allows participants to explore the trail in new ways. Participants must complete at least 3 of the 9 stations to receive a free goodie bag. The stations include a 5-mile bike ride, a climbing wall, bird watching, painting and chalk art, a dog jog, and much more. Prizes, snacks, entertainment, and other fun activities are also part of the event. Generous local sponsors make this free event possible.
