It was such a simple idea to send a guy, named Guy, all around the country to visit some of the most iconic “mom and pop” sort of restaurants. The show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives (DDD) is one of those shows that once you finally force yourself to watch it once, you will be hooked for life. Since we think the show is so cool, and we have plenty of our own Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives around Northern Colorado we have decided to start our own series of videos highlighting the best of the best. But before we can start, we need to know where we should go!

If you haven’t seen the Food Network show, it is really quite simple as I said before. Host Guy Fieri travels all around the U.S. and visits classic “greasy spoon” spots interviewing owners and chefs as they show how their specialties are made. Guy also visits with restaurant patrons as he digs into the famous fare.

The biggest problem with Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives… They haven’t made a single trip to Northern Colorado in 12 seasons. Of the 8 stops Guy has made in Colorado, 6 of them are in Denver, and the other two cities he has been to are Brighton and Boulder. That is where we come in. I may not be Guy Fieri, but I do love food, love Northern Colorado, and have seen enough of Guy’s show to pretend like a laid back California guy with bleached-blond spiky hair.

Now we need your help… Where would you like to see us visit for out NOCO DDD sort of show?

And as a preview, here is the DDD episode from Brighton, Colorado’s Lauer Krauts…
