A new burger restaurant has plans of opening a new location in Longmont by the end of the year, with plans on opening several more Colorado locations in the coming months. With the development of the Foothills Mall in hopes to be completed by the end of the year, could Fort Collins be next on the list?

Bad Daddy's Burger Bar, which is owned by Good Times Restaurants Inc., is an upscale-fast casual burger restaurant with locations already in Aurora, Northglenn, and Cherry Creek. Officials say they are in the final stages of lease negotiations with two other locations in the state.

Never been to a Big Daddy's Burger Bar before? Here's what you can expect if you go to the Longmont location when it opens up later this year...

"Sam I Am Burger" - American Cheese, Over Easy Fried Egg, Rosemary Ham, and Fresh Pesto

"Pittsburgher Burger" - Housemade American Cheese, Shoestring Fries, Spicy Garlic Ketchup, and assorted toppings

"Chunky Elvis Shake" - Creamy Peanut Butter, Ghirardelli Chocolate, Banana, Homemade Fudge, Walnuts.

And the list goes on and on...

The new location in Longmont will be located at the Village at the Peaks development located on Hover Road. Already announced for the development are Whole Foods Market, Sports Authority, Sam's Club, and much more.

With Good Times Restaurants Inc. looking at opening other locations in Colorado, could Fort Collins with the Foothills Mall development be their next stop? Maybe a location off of Interstate 25 in Loveland?

It will be interesting to see if Longmont is the only Northern Colorado spot that gets a new Big Daddy's Burger Bar!
