There's a large divide between cyclists and motorists, mostly over the rules of the road. If you're a cyclist, gain the upper hand in knowledge of safety and legality by taking the City of Fort Collins' Smart Cycling class this Spring.

During the class, beginner and seasoned cyclists will learn basic on-bike handling skills, crash avoidance techniques, and bicycle safety checks. The class will also help you gain confidence on your bike and ride safely and legally in the city.

The City of Fort Collins has one all-day class on Saturday, April 9, from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and a 2-part class on Thursday, May 15, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, May 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Bikes and helmets are necessary but can be provided if needed - just request in advance.
