It’s a thriving industry in the Centennial State: Craft Brewing. It’s become a near $1.5 billion industry! What? The gang at Keep Colorado Local have put together a pretty informative video to explain just how those micros have made such a macro impact on Colorado!

Those oh-so-enjoyable craft beers. They seem to be everywhere these days in Colorado. Anticipation goes off the hook at the mention of another microbrewery opening, doesn’t it?   I guess we’re all looking to not just enjoy what we know—like Odell’s and New Belgium, but we also want to be on the forefront of the up-and-comers, like Crow Hop and Rally King.

In 2011, craft beer in Colorado was a less-than $.5 billion industry.  Only four years later, it’s up to almost $1.5 billion. That’s a lot of hops!  I came across this info-graphic video which explains HOW craft beer has escalated in Colorado.

I thought this was interesting. I would have thought that the breweries and taprooms themselves were more involved.  Plus... to me.. buying a six pack of micros at the liquor store is just too darn expensive; whereas folks who are buying the six-packs for $11, are laughing at me for spending $11 for only two. To each his own...
