The city of Fort Collins Police Department are working hard to solve recent vandalism cases in the area, but are now looking to the public for help.

According to the Fort Collins Police Services Facebook page, city police have received 166 reports of vehicles being damaged by small projectiles during the night and early morning hours. Police say that damage from all of vandalism is projected to be between $45,000 - $75,000.

Officials are asking that if any residents in the affected areas have video security systems, detectives have requested an opportunity to review footage from the timeframe surrounding the incidents.

Officers believe the suspect(s) used small projectiles, most likely BBs, to break windows and mirrors. All vehicles were unoccupied when the damage occurred. These incidents have been reported citywide with no discernable pattern.

A cash reward is available for information leading to an arrest in these cases. Citizens with unreported details about these incidents, security footage in these locations, or potential suspect information should contact Sergeant Paul Wood at 970-224-6132.
