Colorado gas prices are below the national average. That goes especially for stations along the Front Range, or, the stations that are not in the resort mountain towns, where everything is a little bit more expensive.

According to the fortcollinsgasprices.com, the average in Colorado is $2.79 (and falling at the time I was writing this). The national average was at $3.27 with crude oil costing about $95 per barrel.

The lowest price on gas in the Fort Collins and northern Colorado area is currently in Wellington, where the Loaf and Jug at 6th and Cleveland is selling regular unleaded for $2.59.

The highest prices in the area are at about $2.85.
