First Annual Berthoud Snowfest Runs December 14-17th
Berthoud will be holding SNOWFEST 2016 Wednesday, December 14th - Saturday, December 17th, 2016.
What is SNOWFEST?
It's a winter festival and is a sanctioned Colorado Snow Sculpting Competiton.
Other activities include a Parade of Lights and a Kid's Snow Sculpting Contest.
Schedule of Events:
Tuesday, December 13th there will be a Snow Stomping Contest, you can sign up to be on one of the nine teams by calling the Chamber office at 970-532-4200.
Wednesday, December 14th
5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. - Kick-Off Event, Snowfest Launch Party at the Berthoud Community Center, 248 Welch Ave., Berthoud, CO (Tickets are $10/person in advance; $15 at the door).
Wednesday, December 14th - Saturday, December 17th, the Colorado Sanctioned Snow Sculpting Competition will be held at Fickel Park.
Thursday, December 15th, the Kids' Fun Snow Sculpting Contest will begin at 4:30 p.m.
Saturday, December 17th, an Artisan Market will run from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Berthoud Community Center for holiday shopping from local artists.
Saturday, December 17th, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at Grace Place in the Kids' Center from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m.
Saturday, December 17th, the Parade of Lights at 5 p.m. and the Tree Lighting and Candle Lighting Ceremony will follow the parade at Fickel Park at around 6 p.m. Local churches will lead the Christmas caroling.
