Here's a bit of news that proves there's really no such thing as "wildfire season."

The Coloradoan is reporting firefighters have completely contained a 6-acre wildfire in the Reservoir Ridge Natural Area in Northwest Fort Collins.

Authorities said the small grassfire — named the Michaud Fire due to its proximity to Michaud Lane — was caused when winds caused a power line to arc, sending a wildfire-igniting spark. It started in a ditch just west of Claymore Lake in the natural area, Durre said.

No evacuations were made, and no injuries have been reported.

Way to go, firefighters!
