Grammy award-winning singer, Cyndi Lauper is launching a new charity to help homeless youth. The Forty To None Project, part of the "True Colors Fund" is working to help gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgender (LGBT) youth and to educate and raise awareness of issues these youth face in the United States and around the world.

According to an article, LGBT youth make up 40% of all homeless youth in the United States.

To kick-off this new effort, the FORTY TO NONE PROJECT has produced a public service announcement (PSA) that presents the realities of LGBT youth homelessness through tangible statistics, and encourages the audience to get informed and get involved in the FORTY TO NONE PROJECT.

On June 24, the Project is set to launch a website, fortytoone.org.
