I'd put this one under: 'Why didn't they think of this sooner?' It's brilliant, and it's helped this department to save almost a dozen lives.

FOX 31 (KDVR) has the story on this new device that does CPP compressions for the first-responders for someone having a heart attack. Humans get tired. Humans get sweaty. This 'Lucas Device' does not. This way, first-responders can put their attention to other problems the victim is having.

According to the story from FOX 31, the device has been in use at a Lakewood fire department for a year, and they've used it to save 10 lives in that time.

Brilliant! Just BRILLIANT!
