I have a question for you: Were you one of those kids in high school whose lives revolved around the ever-infamous, ever-fabulous high school musical? You know the ones I’m talking about. These kids sang constantly, could usually be found hanging around the music rooms, and a surprising amount of them were also the ones who wore ostentatious fedoras on the daily.

But even if you’re not one of those drama-students of yore, going to a show in Denver always makes for a fun evening, and this year, the Denver Center for the Performing Arts has got quite the spread for us. According to this article by 9News, we’ve got several classic show-stoppers returning to the stage, including The Book of Mormon, The Phantom of the Opera, RENT, The Lion King and… wait for it… Hamilton! That’s right, the fabulous historical rap-aganza that just about everyone’s obsessed with is coming back to Denver, so are you ready for your shot? It’s true that people who’ve bought a DCPA Subscription Package will have first dibs on Hamilton tickets before the rest of us can fight for them, but don’t let that discourage you. We’ll be getting more details about the show later, as well as more information about when you can buy single tickets to different shows.

In case you’re interested in purchasing one of these magical, golden DCPA Subscriptions—you can’t. Apparently, new subscriptions aren’t available right now, but you can join the waiting list. Current subscribers only have until April 7th to renew their subscription, so you might be closer to one of those passes than you think. Especially if something… unfortunate were to happen to one of those subscription holders.

I’m kidding. Probably.

In the meantime, other fabulous Broadway darlings are also making their Denver debut this season, including Mean Girls (how fetch), SpongeBob Musical, Miss Saigon, Summer: The Donna Summer Musical, My Fair Lady, Jimmy Buffett’s Escape to Margaritaville and The Band's Visit. That last one won the Tony Award for this year’s best musical, so, naturally, none of us have seen it.
