Jens "Jay" Yambert-a 60-year-old man from Urbana, Illinois-went hiking last Sunday and was not heard from by family and friends the following Tuesday. This lead to a search for Yambert that sadly ended Saturday as a body was found inside Rocky Mountain National Park that is believed to be him.

According to the Coloradoan, the investigation at the scene (west of Keplinger's Couloir) Saturday indicated that Yambert died instantly after falling an approximate 200 feet. Helicopter operations recovered his body Sunday and was then sent to the Boulder County Coroner's Office. An official identification will be released later.

The Coloradoan also reported that Yambert went missing in the same area in 2014 that also lead to a search. In that incident, he spent the night on Longs Peak due to bad weather and nightfall.
