Blue Bell Ice Cream is set to return to Colorado and just when I decided to give up ice cream for a while.  The Texas-based ice cream maker announced Monday that it plans to re-start distribution along the Front Range on March 27. It will be the first time Blue Bell products have been available in Colorado since the company pulled all of its products nationwide in April 2015 amid a listeria outbreak that killed 3 people.

Blue Bell representatives said in a statement, "We can’t thank our customers enough for their patience!"

I love Blue Bell. I even endorsed the product when it was first introduced to Colorado. My personal favorite:  Moo-llennium Crunch. Hopefully I will be eating ice cream again when it finally arrives in our stores.
