It's about time the big formula companies offered a non-GMO product.

When I first had to decide what to feed my child, I gave it so much more consideration than what I feed myself. I never looked so closely at food before.

I wasn't happy with what I found.

Whenever I see corn syrup, corn syrup solids, or fructose on an ingredient list, I try to shy away. When it is 100% of what I'll be feeding my child, I don't want touch it with a ten foot baby bottle brush.

The way I saw it, this is the first nutrition he'll have. I want to make it count. We went 2 months on breast milk, and after that torturous debacle (it just didn't go well), we were giving him one thing and one thing only.

I'll be damned if it was going to be based in a corn that is designed to maximize profit, not the nutrition of my beautiful, bouncing baby boy.

So, I had to look elsewhere. 20 years ago, I bet I wouldn't even have had a choice. In today's modern world, it didn't take me long to find Earth's Best. After more intensive searching, I even found a way to make it somewhat affordable.

Then, yesterday, I saw something encouraging on the Internet. Check out the recording of my Periscope to see what it is.

It isn't causing me to change brands, just to be happy that some change is happening.
