Greeley's annual dog swim is coming up at the end of the month, when you'll be able to take your pooch to Discovery Bay to dip in the pool with other doggie friends.

Discovery Bay Waterpark is hosting Greeley's Doggie Day on Saturday, August 27, which will be split up between 2 time slots: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Only 100 dogs are allowed per time slot.

Admission costs $5 per ticket before August 25, and $8 at the gate. Each ticket grants access for one dog and 2 human friends. Additional humans can join for $2 per head.

When choosing which time slot to attend, keep your dog's weight in mind (because it matters)! The first time slot is for dogs weighing under 50 pounds, and the second time slot is for dogs over 50 pounds.

To celebrate the Olympics, there will also be an agility obstacle course at Waggin' Tail Dog Park right across the street an hour prior to each session at 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. Prizes will be given to the fastest pooch to finish the course.

Discovery Bay Waterpark is located at 715 E. 24th Street in Greeley. Call 970-353-3538 for ticket information.
