You or a Family Member Could Travel To Greeley’s Sister City in Japan
How would you or someone in your family like to take a trip to Japan? Applications are currently available for the City of Greeley’s Sister City Exchange trip to Moriya, Japan.
Students who are Greeley residents and at least 14 years of age in grades nine through 12 during the 2016-17 academic year can apply to be considered for the trip. If chosen, they will travel with a group and stay in Moriya, Japan with a host family from June 6 through June 15. The application deadline is Jan. 20, at 5 p.m.
To support the program, the City of Greeley offers students who are residents a $1,000 scholarship to help offset the cost of the trip. The balance of the trip, which typically costs $2,500 to $3,000 depending on airfare, is the responsibility of the student.
