Winter Storm Warning Confirmed by Punxsy Phil

The groundhog has spoken. Well, he indicated. Actually, he may have implied. However they communicate with Punxsutawney Phil, the message is clear. He has seen his shadow, he is heading back into his hole for 6 more weeks of winter.

Thank heavens, because if you would have told some of the skiers and snowboarders that spring is already on the way, they would not have been happy. I mean, the snow has been fine, but we are not nearly done here. As a young Pennsylvania boy I used to wake up on Feb. 2 and take whatever Phil predicted as gospel. So, being that I've only skied 4 times so far this year and have yet to find myself knee deep in powder, if he'd said that we can expect an early spring I would have demanded a recount.

No problems, though. Believe the woodchuck my friends, and prepare for some snow.
