Windsor Random Acts of Kindness Week
This week the Town of Windsor is inviting you to participate in Windsor’s first Random Acts of Kindness week.
Each day of this week, you are encouraged to participate in daily activities to help make Windsor a little brighter this week.
Kim Schutt, a co-founder of the program, says, “Our community was faced with great loss and challenges as 2016 came to a close, and this movement provides an opportunity to support one another and begin 2017 in an uplifting way.”
Here are some of the daily challenges that are coming up this week:
Wednesday, January 11, 2017: Pay it Forward, repay others rather than the person that helped you. For example, pay for the person’s coffee behind you in line.
Thursday, January 12, 2017: Thank an Educator, recognize a teacher, mentor or school staff member that has made a difference.
Friday, January 13, 2017: Senior Smiles, brighten the day of a Windsor senior citizen.
Saturday, January 14, 2017: Neighborly Nod, do something kind for your neighbor — shovel their walk, bring them goodies or just spend time together!
You can share your participation via social media and use the hashtag #WindsorKindness and don’t forget to tag the Town of Windsor in your post.
