As the state continues to clarify the logistics of legalizing marijuana under Amendment 64, local cities and towns are struggling with whether or not to ban the pot industry altogether in their local neighborhoods.

Windsor is one of those towns, according to the Greeley Tribune.  The Windsor Town Board decided on Monday to vote on some form of ban on all marijuana industry enterprises within town limits.

The board will likely be presented with two emergency ordinances — both halting pot-shop licensing for a to-be-determined time. One measure would place a temporary ban on retail, cultivation, testing and processing facilities. The other would also target private cannabis clubs — a gray area under the new law.

Windsor joins other cities like Evans in the debate over whether or not the marijuana industry should be allowed to flourish within their boundaries.

Do you think the marijuana industry should be banned in your city?  Or should it be allowed to establish itself, if for no other reason than to help the local economy?  Let me know in the comment section below!
