Windsor Is Bringing Back An Old 4th of July Bell-Ringing Tradition
I just love when communities come together for holiday traditions, even if it's just something as simple as ringing bells...
Some Windsor residents are reviving a tradition of ringing bells at 2 p.m. each Fourth of July to commemorate the nation’s birthday. The tradition emanates from a presidential proclamation from President John F. Kennedy in 1963, called the “Let Freedom Ring” celebration.

What a terrific idea! I might have to go get some bells to ring...even though I live in Fort Collins. Maybe Windsor will hear me if I ring them enthusiastically enough!
Are you going to "Let Freedom Ring" on the 4th?
