Windsor says ready, set, go for the Fourth of July! Celebrate with the town and be prepared to have a booming good time.

CELEBRATING THE FOURTH OF JULY WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS IN WINDSOR

The family fun starts with a fun run with your four legged friends and family members with unique interactive activities, live music and a booming fireworks display like none other.

The four-legged fun run begins with registration at 7 a.m. (pre-registered at 8 a.m.) If you haven't signed up for the race yet click here. Register up till July 3, 2015 for $15. Day-of-Registration is $20.

Most events for the big booming Fourth of July fun in Windsor is free including the interactive exhibits at the Windsor Museum and Art and Heritage Center. This activity will be available from noon till 4 p.m.

Free music at Boardwalk park gets underway at 7 p.m. and to celebrate Windsor's 125 birthday the bigger booming fireworks will kick off at 9:30 p.m. (the music and fireworks are free)

Grab your blankets, babies, kids, grandma and lawn chairs... it's almost the Fourth of July and Windsor is sure to often a booming good time.
