If you're like me, you love to stop into a Whole Foods Market and indulge yourself in the great products that the store has to offer. However, sometimes when you expect to only spend $20 it turns into $200 very quickly because the cost can be daunting. The national grocery chain, with one location in Fort Collins and another in Boulder, is putting together plans to make the store more affordable to all consumers.

According to Forbes, the plan is to roll out a batch of stores in the nation with everything that you expect from a Whole Foods but at a much lower cost.

The hope for Whole Foods Market is they are able to lure in more of the millenials that they are currently lacking in their current location. Insiders believe this is the store's way of competing with Trader Joes, which just opened up a location in Fort Collins in February.

Company officials hope the new chain could be on the same scale of the current Whole Foods, which has 373 stores across the country. With increased competition from stores like Sprouts, Fresh Market, and Krogers, Whole Foods has seen their market share shrink in recent shares and this could be their way of becoming the perennial market leader once again for organic and specialty foods.

More details about the new spin off chain could be released as soon as September with the hope that the new stores will be opened in 2016.
