Made by almost sheer luck almost 50 years ago, the Charles Schultz classic comes to TV tonight for its annual Christmas airing.

"A Charlie Brown Christmas'!

What time will it be on?

Come in and find out- and see one artist's special tribute to the classic!

47 years ago in 1965, Charles Schultz and company presented Coca-Cola a storyline for a Peanuts special about Charlie Brown being the worst baseball player ever.  Coke said they would really like a Christmas special. In a rush, they came up with a small story about Charlie Brown and the gang discovering the meaning of Christmas. 'A Charlie Brown Christmas". Boom. Sold!

ABC Channel 9 will air the television classic tonight (Dec 18) at 7:00pm Mountain Time!

One of the key signatures of the classic is the music-  Here's Mariah Carey singing her version of "Christmas Time is Here"-

Some popcorn (of course!), some cider and some Charlie Brown- I can't wait!  I'll see you tonight on the coach in front of the TV!  Merry Christmas!
