I pay peripheral attention to the Bachelor. My wife and some of her friends have been crazy about the show since it started, so it's always kind of there. I keep my eyes out for any good scandal, or silliness, or easy jokes to crack. There is also something intriguing about the women who will decide they love a man before they meet him so they can be on TV.

As for the lucky guy, there have been some duds. While they may look like leading supermen, the scrutiny of constantly having a lens on them reveals that they are just regular guys, with quirks and weaknesses like everyone else.

When Juan Pablo came on the scene, he really seemed like he had superstar power.

Then, in unprecedented moves, not one but two women decided that they didn't like him and left the show on their own power.

In this clip, Andi takes JP to task and asks him if he knows what religion she is...classic Bachelor gold.

During the finale, Bachelor Juan Pablo boarded a helicopter with Clare and there were no cameras or microphones on them, and she claims that he said something very offensive to her, though she has yet to share what exactly that was. Speculators claim that what he said was something about liking to hook up with her (but apparently he said it in kind of a foul way).
