You've probably heard by now that Microsoft's former CEO, Steve Ballmer, is buying the Los Angeles Clippers basketball team for a cool $2 billion. Sounds like a lot of cash, sure, but when you start thinking of what other billionaires could afford, it's pocket change!

Since maps are the cool things to make right now, someone got to thinking... What if some of these billionaires wanted to buy all of the real estate in some major cities, could they afford it?

That someone I am talking about is the real estate company Redfin. They basically compared the wealth of the richest Americans to the total value of all residential real estate in major cities. Not only could the rich buy up cities if they felt like it, they could buy big ones!

The Colorado cities listed were Littleton which is estimated to be worth $20 billion, and therefore fits the budget of the Clippers new owner Steve Ballmer. The other Colorado city was Commerce City which is in Donald Trump's price range at $3.9 billion.

Did you get a sort of depressed feeling reading this too? You aren't alone, but I did try to find something positive, and that is no one can afford New York City... HAHA got ya rich, suckers!
